TVXQ members Yoochun, Jaejoong and Junsu filing lawsuit against SM Entertainment.
In the past days, there has been rumors about 3 members of TVXQ, Yoochun, Jaejoong and Junsu requesting a disposition asking to be released from their contracts. The first reports stated that Yunho and Changmin were not part of this request.
Reasons for this lawsuit were reported to be; but not limited to, the slavery 13 year contract they have, with earnings split into either 8:2 or 9:1. Junsu was also reportedly been pushed around by high officials in SM Entertainment because of his father's involvement in their cosmetics business, and also that the business weren't cleared with SM beforehand. It wasn't mentioned by neither SM nor the boys lawyer, but it has also been known earlier that the members are severly overworked.
SM Entertainment released a statement earlier confirming that TVXQ will continue their schedule, but at that time, all TVXQ notices and schedules were removed from their homepage. A statement from the boys themselves are yet to be released.
Later reports, including a telephone interview with the boys lawyer confirmed that they only wanted to re-negotiate the terms of the 'exclusive clause' in their contract, and they are NOT asking to be completely released from the company.
AVEX Entertainment, the Japanese branch of SM Entertainment also released a statement earlier, confirming they are in dialogue with SM Entertainment, but has by now still not received any clarification from the SM Entertainment.
The latest reports is a official message from Cassiopeia on DNBN also states that all rumors about the boys disbanding are NOT true, the only true new is that TVXQ is filing a suspension of contract.
